What are the characteristics of surface-mount LED profiles?

One major advantage of surface-mount profiles is their easy installation. LED aluminum profiles can be attached to smooth surfaces without the need for cutting or milling holes in walls, plasterboards, or furniture. Special mounting plates or suspension kits, which are also available in our range, are all you need. Another advantage is the snap-in diffuser feature, allowing for easy insertion and removal. Depending on the chosen surface profile, we offer different widths for inserting the LED strip: 10, 12, 14, 16, 20, 30, 42, or 46 mm. They are versatile and easy to install.

Most of our LED aluminum profiles are available in the following variants: white powder-coated, silver anodized aluminum, black anodized aluminum, or raw aluminum. The last option is an economical version, not resistant to damage, which is why our customers are more inclined to choose anodized versions with a high degree of scratch resistance.

Components for LED lighting - What do surface-mount LED profiles contain?

Our surface-mount profiles are enriched with components for LED lighting, making installation easier and providing more options for combinations, connections, and mounting. Such accessories include diffusers with different levels of transparency and shapes, system and dedicated mounting plates, end caps, brackets, suspensions, or angle connectors with different angles, e.g., - 60°, 90°, 120°, 135°, 180°, making it possible to create various lighting layouts without cutting the profile at an angle.

In some variants, LED profiles also allow the use of waterproof strips, concealed mounting, suspension from power cables, luminous angle connectors, the use of a continuous light line (using a 120 P/m strip and an opal diffuser), two levels of mounting the mounting plate (with or without distance from the mounting plane), the possibility of using multiple strips at the same time, and a wide range of system and dedicated accessories. Additionally, more sophisticated profiles have increased heat dissipation capacity, allowing for the use of more powerful LED sources without the risk of significantly raising the temperature inside the fixture. As a result, the lifespan of LEDs is extended, and good light parameters are maintained for a longer period.
